FTPSS NOSE

Finally, the short film has been developed! Congratulations to each and everyone of you guys who took the extra step and initiative to make this a success. Obviously, we all know, it was suppose to be a better and longer film than this, nevertheless, we'll take this as our 1st step in the many years ahead.....as our school motto says, "To The Years Ahead".

Now, let's watch our film (this time, you do not need to look for your mistakes, the mistakes will appear right before you!)

Making of the Studio

This morning, the studio was prepared and tested out by our studio reporters.

Preparation:

Testing:

Sample Introduction Clip (with sound & extended video)

The introduction clip has now been fitted with some music that we selected!
The sample video below contains the intro clip and follows onto the test studio scene and test "on-ground" scene:

Cheers,
Mr Royston

Note: Remember to leave feedbacks/suggestions to improve our film alright!

Sample Introduction Clip (without sound)

Watch the following video to view the Sample Introduction Clip (without sound):

This was done up in flash. Maybe another course some other time alrite, haha :D

Now working on the sound effects..finding something really lame (that'll be funny for viewers)

Sample Studio Scene

Remember the chroma-key effect I demonstrated to you guys!

I experimented after course-hours to analyse the possibility of using the effect on our studio scenes. First of all, it is essential to have a good background video. For this sample, I did some research, and found out that, these background video are called seamless loops.

There are companies that design these seamless loops and sell them online. However, I managed to capture such a seamless loop by video-taping the Windows Media Player visualisations (for Free!) :D

See pictures below for better understanding:

After capturing the videos, as per normal, conversion and editing/trimming to get what is required only. After which, the video clip of Ken was overlayed and chroma-keyed.

Watch the video below to see the results of this effect:
How interesting right?!?! Leave your comments on whether it would be good to use this effect for our studio scenes and include all other ideas and suggestions!
Keep Rollin!

Mr Royston
